The Dominican Republic at Aman is cliff, jungle, and Playa Grande light, a wilder Caribbean register than manicured all-inclusive corridors. Our house here is Amanera: casita living, spa recovery after salt or golf hours, and a house that keeps strip nightlife optional rather than mandatory.
We hold casitas early around holiday peaks when Playa Grande inventory thins, and we pair naturally with Amanyara or Amanvari when Americas water stays should share one arc: reef, cliff, or East Cape as distinct registers.
Amanera sits beside the Playa Grande golf course, which places it in our Fairways & Sea collection, and its beach in Island Sanctuaries.

Best time to visit
December through April is the classic dry-season window: steadier weather and clearer ocean days. May through November can still be excellent for quieter weeks, with tropical-wave caution in peak hurricane months. Shoulder months reward travelers who prefer fewer golf tee sheets and emptier sand.
Seasonality
Winter holidays and peak dry season fill first. Hurricane-season itineraries need explicit house and aviation confirmation. Green season brings lush forest and occasional afternoon weather.
Airport / logistics
Most arrivals use Puerto Plata (POP) with a private transfer along the north coast; some itineraries use Punta Cana (PUJ) or Santiago (STI) when aviation dictates. Transfer times are real geography. Your advisor plans the journey door to door. Golf, beach, and spa pacing are arranged with the stay.
