Dry season roughly December to April brings clearer skies and calmer seas across the atolls. May to November is warmer and lusher, with brief tropical showers and often excellent diving visibility between squalls. Festive and school-holiday weeks are best reserved early.
Seasonality
Dry months favour beach and Private Island weeks; shoulder and wetter months can reward spa-led and dive-forward stays. Holiday weeks and the Private Island are best reserved early.
Airport / logistics
International gateways concentrate on Velana (MLE). Seaplane transfers into Noonu Atoll are timed to daylight windows; late international arrivals may require an overnight in Malé before continuing.
