Maldives · Noonu Atoll
Randheli Island is Cheval Blanc’s Maldivian Maison: six islands nestled in Noonu Atoll, where Jean-Michel Gathy’s architecture meets lagoon light, Artisan hospitality, and a villa programme that runs from intimate one-bedroom Water and Lagoon houses to the one-hectare Private Island.
Exclusive Villa Collection holds Randheli for travelers who want sunrise overwater decks, sunset Island Villa beaches, Guerlain rituals on Spa Island, and evenings that can unfold at Le 1947, Diptyque, Deelani, or a Carte Blanche table on their own sand.
Noonu Atoll lies in the north of the Maldives, a seaplane flight from Malé, and Randheli makes good use of the distance. The six islands give the Maison room to separate its moods: villas on one shore, Guerlain on Spa Island, tennis and padel on neighbouring Maakurandhoo, and a Private Island of its own. A week here feels composed rather than crowded onto a single beach.
Couples tend to choose the overwater villas, Water Villas for sunrise and Lagoon or Horizon for sunset and open ocean, each with a deck that steps into the lagoon. Families and friends travelling together do well in the two-bedroom Garden Water, Lagoon Garden or Island Villas, with sand and the house reef close by, and Le Carrousel for children and Le Paddock for teens. For a celebration or three generations, the four-bedroom Private Island holds a hectare of its own, with a 25-metre pool and a Guerlain spa on stilts. Every category is set out on our Cheval Blanc Randheli page.
Randheli also anchors our Overwater & Lagoon collection, and our Maldives guide sets it in the wider country.

When and how
Each season keeps its own calendar. We plan the transfer around it.
Best time to visit
December to April is the drier season across Noonu Atoll, with calmer seas and clearer skies, the favoured window for beach weeks and celebrations.
Seasonality
May to November is warmer and lusher, with brief showers and often rewarding diving. Holiday weeks and the Private Island are best reserved early. Dive and yacht days follow the weather and your preferences.
Airport / logistics
From Velana International in Malé, a seaplane reaches Noonu Atoll in about forty minutes, in daylight only, so a late arrival often means a night in Malé. Guests flying privately can land at Maafaru, twenty-five minutes away by Nava yacht.
Month by month
Seasons follow the notes above. Average daily high and monthly rainfall for 2015 to 2024 from ERA5 reanalysis, via Open-Meteo.
