Eight nights in Tuscany

Florence & Tuscany, eight nights

Four nights in the city, four in the countryside: museums by appointment, a house among cypress, written as one itinerary and held by your dedicated advisor.

The week

Florence & Tuscany, eight nights

8 nights Florence · Chianti Private transfers

Eight nights held as one continuous stay: four in Florence for the city’s private hours, four in Chianti and the Val d’Orcia for houses among vines. Museums by appointment, a driver who already knows the gate, and an advisor who remains with the week from the first conversation through the flight home.

Stays are confirmed by hand for your dates, with houses in Florence and the countryside chosen around the week you want. The itinerary leads; the houses follow.

See our Tuscany guide and the Mediterranean Hills collection for the houses on this route.

Itinerary

Eight nights, written as one stay

Days are held by your advisor: museums by appointment, a house among vines, and the quiet transfer between city and countryside.

Nights 1 and 2: Arrive Florence

A private transfer from the airport into the centro, bags already upstairs. The first evening is kept short on purpose: a walk that ends at the Arno rather than a checklist, and a table that does not need a reservation app. Your advisor holds the keys and the quiet introductions: museums by appointment begin the next morning, not the minute you land.

Night 3: Museums by appointment

One private viewing before the doors open to the day, then a long lunch in a room that faces a courtyard rather than a street. The afternoon is left unscheduled so the city can arrive at its own pace. Twilight on the river is the punctuation, not another museum hour.

Night 4: The city, held lightly

A morning for whatever Florence still owes you: a chapel, a bookshop, a street that is not on the postcard. Afternoon packing is deliberate. Evening transfer toward Chianti with a driver who already knows which gate opens. The countryside begins before dinner.

Nights 5 and 6: A house among vines

Four nights in the countryside open here: cypress, a long table, and a kitchen that behaves like a house rather than a hotel corridor. A market morning in a hill town that is not staged for coaches. The pool hour is optional; the view is not. Your advisor confirms which estate and which wing once the season and the party are clear.

Night 7: The drive that is the point

A day written around the road itself: Val d’Orcia light, a lunch that runs long, and an arrival back to the house before dusk. No forced winery circuit. If a cellar matters to you, it is chosen because the winemaker still opens the door, not because it fills a brochure.

Night 8: Close the week

A last breakfast that does not rush the transfer. Bags down, a final look at the valley, and the drive toward Florence or Pisa held without theatre. Optional Venice coda: Aman Venice on the Grand Canal, only when the week wants a third Italian stop; ask, and we will advise whether that night belongs.
