Where you stay
Pavilion suites gather around the plateau with desert and mesa outlooks. Desert Rock residences and camp experiences are separate stays when Aman offers them.

Aman’s Canyon Point desert house: pavilion suites set against Utah mesas, a pool plateau under big sky, spa recovery after sun and stone, and adventure programming through canyons and via ferrata.

Canyon Point, Utah, USA
Amangiri sits at Canyon Point in southern Utah as a pavilion resort embedded in desert rock: suites oriented to mesas and shadow, a central pool plateau that photographs have made famous, an Aman Spa for sun and climbing recovery, and an adventure desk for canyons, via ferrata, and the outings that make the geography the point rather than a backdrop. Desert Rock residences and camp experiences extend the brief when Aman offers them. Exclusive Villa Collection sends clients here for American desert with Aman silence: heat, stone, big sky, and a week that refuses themed-resort energy. We match pavilion category to how you host, adventure load to fitness and heat tolerance, and whether the itinerary should stay close to the plateau or push toward Lake Powell and wider canyon country, always confirming live inventory and conditions rather than promising a still from a campaign.

The house
A first reading of the stay: rooms, light, and the quiet between them. Each still is a note, not a catalogue.
The Experience
Adventure mornings when the stone is cool; pool and spa middays when heat radiates off the cliffs; mesa-light evenings that do not need entertainment. The house keeps the pace elevated and spare: architecture against rock, water on the plateau, treatments after dust and sun. Soft inclusions and adventure calendars verify live; weather edits the week aggressively in midsummer, and we will say so before anyone romanticizes July.
Exclusive Villa Collection holds the pavilion with the transfer corridor, often Las Vegas with private ground or helicopter options, and the dietary and celebration asks that matter in a remote desert house. When Amangani and Amangiri belong on the same western circuit, we sequence mountain powder or park days with desert silence deliberately, not as two disconnected bookings. Plan My Trip when you are ready to choose shoulder light over peak heat, or to hold holiday weeks before the plateau is gone.
Why EVC loves it
Inside the stay
Where you sleep, what you eat, and how you arrive: the essentials, in brief.
Rooms / Suites / Villas
Pavilion suites gather around the plateau with desert and mesa outlooks. Desert Rock residences and camp experiences are separate stays when Aman offers them.
Dining
Resort dining after canyon days; adventure picnics and remote meals can be arranged when weather allows. Remoteness means dietary needs and celebration cakes are arranged ahead of arrival.
Spa & Wellness
Aman Spa after sun, dust and climbing days: treatments, quiet rooms and recovery that makes the next morning possible. Treatments can be reserved with the stay.
Beach / Pool
No ocean beach: this is high desert. The pool plateau is the water, and Lake Powell is an outing when conditions allow. For sand and reef, pair with a coastal Aman.
Who it is best for
Desert and adventure travelers who want Aman quiet under the Utah sky; couples and small groups who prefer stone and silence; and those pairing Amangiri with Amangani on a western Aman journey. Not for beach-first weeks or anyone who wilts in dry heat.
Getting there
Most itineraries use Las Vegas (LAS), with a private transfer or helicopter into Canyon Point. Private aviation options exist depending on runway access. Your advisor arranges the transfer as part of the stay, timed around desert distances and weather.

Seasonality
Spring and autumn are the classic windows for light and temperature. Summer heat can be extreme, and midday hours outdoors are limited. Winter can be stark and beautiful, with early dark and occasional snow dust on stone. Holiday weeks are best reserved early.
